Sending a fax
Open the UpFax application.
The "From" field will be either a dropdown or a text box depending on if your administrator has configured from numbers for you. Choose or type the correct from number.
Start typing a name or phone number in the "To" field. If an address book has been configured and the name or number exists, it will appear below the field. Click on it or press Enter to select it. If not, type or paste the full number in the "To" field.
Type a message in the "Message" field. This message will appear on the cover sheet.
Select one or more PDF files to send. Each PDF file will have the cover sheet attached and be sent separately.
Click the "Send" button to send the faxes. Click the "Clear" button to clear the interface and start over.
The selected PDF(s) will have the cover sheet attached and then be copied to the outbound folder. Click on "Open Outbound Folder" to view the faxes.
Once a fax is sent by UpFax Server it is moved to the Sent folder inside the outbound folder. When the result is received the fax is moved to the Success or Failure folder depending on the result.
